Time Line |
| Each classroom in grades 1-5 will conduct a classroom Spelling Bee on or before Wednesday, November 18, 2009. |
| The winning speller from each class will compete against the other winners in his or her grade level on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. |
| The winning speller from each grade level will compete against the other grade level winners in a School-wide Spelling Bee on Thursday, December 10, 2009. |
| The school Spelling Bee winner will move on to a local level Spelling Bee where he or she will compete against other students in Durham. |
